Volunteer Positions Available:

To volunteer at one of our host sites doing general duties such as preparing/serving meals, registering clients and working win the clothing bank please call us at 416 948 6682.

There are many reasons to bring your talent to our team! You will be part of a unique program that offers people in need with care, compassion and hope. You will be able to meet and work with outstanding volunteers from various cultures and religions, all of whom join together in humanity. Last but not least, you will experience opportunities to use many of your skills and expand your knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment!

Registered Nurses:

Working independently at one host site, 1 night a week for between 10 - 20 weeks, you will provide holistic nursing care, including health teaching, guidance and support to clients at our program. You will also provide basic health care such as wound care, foot care, vitamins/nutrition, pain relief and overall health check ups.

Social Workers/Housing Workers/Addictions Counseling:

Social workers specializing in addictions and/or housing are needed to provide individual therapy along with linking clients to appropriate resources. You would work independently at one host site, 1 night a week for between 10-20 weeks.

Fundraising Committee:

We are looking for energetic and creative individuals to join our fundraising committee! As part of a team, you will have the opportunity to play an essential role in fulfilling MIOTC's mission to alleviate poverty, by generating fundraising ideas and implementing fundraising initiatives.
